Central Railway and Western Railway will conduct Mumbai Mega Block on most of the Sundays for the maintenance works of rail racks and other related works under both the Railway zones.
Central Railway’s Train Block is called Mega Block and Western Railway’s Train Block is called Jumbo Block.
Central Railway announced the details of Mega Block on Harbour Line and Central Line on Sunday, 02.09.2018. Western Railway also announced Jumbo Block details in Western Line on 02.09.2018.
CENTRAL LINE
THANE – KALYAN DN SLOW LINE (11.00 AM – 04.00 PM)
Dn Slow/Semi Fast line services leaving Mulund Station from 10.47 am to 03.50 pm will be diverted on Dn fast line between Mulund and Kalyan stations halting at Thane, Diva and Dombivli stations and will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
Dn fast services leaving CSMT Mumbai from 10.05 am to 02.54 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.
Up fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.37 am to 03.06 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule beyond.
All Dn and Up slow locals leaving/arriving CSMT from 11.00 am to 05.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
Dn slow locals will not be available at Kalva, Mumbra, Kopar and Thakurli stations during the block period. Passengers of these stations are allowed to travel via Kalayan, Dombivali, Diva and Thane stations.
Dn Mail/Express trains during the block period will be running 15 minutes behind schedule.

HARBOUR LINE
CSMT – CHUNABHATTI/BANDRA DN HARBOUR LINE (11.40 AM – 04.40 PM)
And
CHUNABHATTI/BANDRA – CSMT UP HARBOUR LINE (11.10 AM – 04.10 PM)
Dn Harbour line services to Vashi/Belapur/Panvel leaving CSMT Mumbai/Vadala Road from 11.34 am to 04.47 pm and Dn Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri/Goregaon leaving CSMT from 09.56 am to 04.43 pm will remain suspended.
Up Harbour line services for CSMT Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 09.53 am to 03.20 pm and Up Harbour line services leaving Bandra/Andheri/Goregaon from 10.45 am to 04.58 pm will remain suspended.
However, Special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8) during the block period.
Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 06.00 pm during block period.
WESTERN LINE
SANTACRUZ – GOREGAON (10.35 AM – 03.35 PM)
To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a jumbo block will be taken on Up and Dn fast lines between Santacruz and Goregaon from 10:35 hrs to 15:35 hrs on Sunday, 2nd September, 2018. During the block period, all fast line trains will run on slow lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations.
Due to this, some Up and Dn local trains will remain cancelled.
