Cape Town - If Saturday's 38-0 loss to Munster at Thomond Park is anything to go by, it will be a long PRO14 season for the Cheetahs.
The South Africans were completely outplayed in every aspect of the game in their tournament opener as Munster, coached by former springbok assistant coach Johann van Graan, ran in six unanswered tries.
The Cheetahs had started brightly in the opening 10 minutes and only went into half-time 12-0 down.
The wheels came off in a big way in the second half, however, as the visitors lost their shape and ran out of puff.
It ends a disappointing PRO14 weekend from a South African perspective with the Kings having gone down 34-16 to Italy's Zebre on Friday night.
