Delhi Transco Employees give Rs 10,15,428 to Kerala Govt

The employees of Delhi Transco Limited have contributed one day’s salary towards the Kerala’s Chief Minister Distress Relief Fund.

A cheque amounting Rs 10,15,428 was handed over to Satyendar Jain, Minister of  Power Government of NCT of Delhi by CMD Delhi Transco Ltd and Secretary (Power) Government of NCT of Delhi Varsha Joshi on Friday for sending it to the Government of Kerala.

Sunil Mehta elected to head Indian Banks' Association

The Managing Committee of the Indian Banks' Association at its meeting held on Friday at Mumbai elected Sunil Mehta, MD & CEO, Punjab National Bank as the Chairman, IBA for the term 2018-19. Sunil Mehta brings over 35 years of experience, and also has worked in various capacities in field i.e. Branches & Zones as well as administrative offices and acquired diversified experience in various facets of banking.

Seminar on Arbitration, Contractual Obligations

Consequent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Conclave on CPSEs emphasizing the need to share knowledge and best practices amongst CPSEs, the HRD Centre for Excellence of NHPC Limited organized a one-day seminar on “Handling Arbitration and Contractual Obligations” at its Corporate Office, Faridabad. Balraj Joshi, CMD, NHPC was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Ratish Kumar, Director (Projects) and NK Jain, Director (Personnel) were also present on the occasion. In his address, Balraj Joshi, CMD stressed on the importance of understanding the best practices related to arbitration matters so that an effective arbitration mechanism can be devised towards the benefit of the organization. Ratish Kumar, Director (Projects) mentioned the need of revisiting the existing arbitration process to make it more effective.
