Seminar-cum-exhibition of Mati Kala Board

Jharkhand Mati Kala Board organized an exhibition-cum-summit of soil aircraftsmen skill development here on Friday. In the programme Assembly Speaker Dinesh Oraon, Union Minister Sudarshan Bhagat, Chairman Jharkhand Mati Kala Board Srichand Prasad, President of the state board Chhattisgarh Chandrasekhar Pandey, management director of the board Manjunath Bhajantri, DC Binod Kumar, SP Priyadarshi Alok, MLC Praveen Singh, Neeraj Prajapati and many others were present.

The programme was jointly inaugurated by the speaker Dinesh Oran, Board president Srichand Prajapati and MD of the Board Manjunath Bhajantri.

On the occasion speaker Dinesh Oraon said, “Many encouraging steps are being taken for skill development of soil art crafts in the State. The board has been set up in 2016 for the upliftment of the people of Kumhar society. They must take advantages of the new technologies, and available markets.”

In the concluding session, Union Minister Sudarshan Bhagat said, “After setting up of the board the traditional system of the Kumhar society is again being aliive. They are in direct touch with the nature and can replace the utensils of plastics in the market.”

The president of the Board Srichand Prasad said, “Many persons can get employment after implantation of the new policy by the board. The board would provide them training with new technologies.”

The management director Manjunath Bhajantri said, “It is the first seminar and exhibition of the board being organized in Lohardaga by Mati Kala Board. The govt is also taking many positive steps to promote them.”

The seminar was also addressed by the member Neeraj Prajapati and others. Many exhibitions were displayed by the people came from several districts.
