Bhopal: Several ministers besides CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and officers visited schools across the state and participated in ‘Mil Bachey Madhya Pradesh’ programme of the school education department. They cited interesting stories and incidents and motivated children to work hard to get success in life.
CM visited a school in Ladkui in Sehore district and had interaction with students. He told them about various government schemes meant for the welfare of students. He urged the parents, teachers and students to adopt healthy practices like sports and yoga along with studies.
He urged the parents to inculcate healthy habits in children, encourage them to participate in sports and not to put undue pressure on the children. CM asked the parents to play active role in parent-teacher associations and work for the development of the schools.
CM reiterated that merger process into teacher’s cadre would be completed by September 30. Public relation minister Narottam Mishra visited Government High School in Datia and told students about medicinal plants and their importance. Minister of state for technical education, Deepak Joshi went to Government Middle School in Hatpiplaya in Dewas district where he had studied once.
Joshi narrated stories of Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Chandra Shekhar Azad. School education minister Vijay Shah participated in a government school in his constituency in Khalwa in Khandwa district. Shah urged the parents to visit school every month and take report of their children’s progress in studies. Collector Bhopal Sudam Khade, DIG Dharmendra Chowdhary visited Government Sanjay Gandhi Middle School cited short stories and gifted books to the students.
