Ahead of the Men’s Hockey World Cup scheduled to be held at the Kalinga Stadium here from November, Bhubaneswar would be made completely Wi-Fi-enabled, city Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena informed on the sidelines of the Local Self-Government Day celebrations on Friday.

Jena also told reporters that 100 more city buses would be introduced for the benefit of commuters in the city.

“In view of the Hockey World Cup, the Smart City will be given a new look within two months. For its beautification, walls along 80-km stretch of road in and around the city will be painted,” he further said.

Besides, steps are afoot to resolve the drainage and waterlogging issues in the city, Jena added.
