ECI extends last date of electoral roll revision to September 7

Election Commission of India (ECI) had extended the last date of special drive for brief revision of electoral rolls in Chhattisgarh to September 7, 2018.

Notably, the last date of electoral rolls revision had ended on August 31, 2018. It is the second time that the extension has been done by the ECI to facilitate the electors.

According to official sources, now citizens who are residents of concerned assembly constituency and have attained the age of 18 years as on January 1, 2018 could get enrolled their name in the voter list by filling up the Form-6.

Similarly, for deleting the names the Form-7 would have to be filled, sources informed.

For any corrections in the name and other information Form-8 has to be filled, sources added.
