32-year-old woman hangs self to death

A 32-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at her Shanti Nagar residence under Nishatpura police station area on Thursday.

The deceased identified a Sunita alias Neetu Vishwakarma(32)  was found hanging at her house and was declared when taken to a nearby hospital.

Sunita got married around 12 years ago but her husband was a habitual alcoholic and used to harass her and later she left her along with her two children and started to live with Abhisek in Shanti Nagar.

For the past two years she was living with Abhisek and on Thursday evening she committed suicide.

Police have not found any suicide note from the spot and no reason was revealed in the investigation by Abhisek and her family members. Before her death she spoke to her mother but not revealed any problem.

After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered.

Meanwhile, a 23-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Shabri Nagar under Kamla Nagar police station late on Thursday night.

The deceased identified as Roshni Narhariya was found hanging in the night by her husband Suneel.

Police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation. Reason of the suicide remained unknown and would be investigated in the further investigation.

The deceased is survived by a daughter and a son. Statements of the family members and husband are yet to be recorded.
