Speaking at a media event, Akhilesh said that people are annoyed with the lies of BJP and “they are eagerly waiting for upcoming general elections.”
He said, “Demonetisation and GST have hit common man adversely and if BJP is so sure about its move, and if note ban was too good then I dare BJP of doing it again.”
When asked about Chacha Shivpal Yadav floating his own political front, Akhilesh said, “I don’t want to get distracted. Samajwadi Party (SP) will fight the 2019 general elections on genuine issues.”
