4 things that Apple's iPhone September 12 event invite 'reveals'

Apple has finally sent the official invitation for its annual iPhone event. The company will unveil its 2018 iPhones on September 12 in an event scheduled to be held at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Apple Park, Cupertino.
Apple invites usually have a 'cryptic hint' as to what the company could announce at or about the year's big theme. Last year, Apple invite had its 'logo' and read: 'Let's meet at our place'. From the place, the company hinted at its new Apple Park spaceship campus. The campus opened to the media for the first time on the launch date of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X.
This year, the invite reads 'Gather Round' written in Gold/Copper colour combination with a round concentric circles. While the concentric circles would immediately remind anyone of the Microsoft's Cortana at a glance but it is almost impossible that Apple would actually want its Siri to have any relation with Microsoft's Cortana. So, what is Apple trying to hint at with its 'Get round' invite? Here are some guesses:
This could simply indicate Apple's spaceship campus
As the event is happening at Apple's new spaceship campus, so, the concentric circles could be hinting at the venue. Also, "Gather Round" could be mean literally getting around the main ring-shaped building in Apple Park.
Gold/Copper colour
The font colour of the invite is in a colour combination of Gold and Copper. This could mean that Apple might introduces a new colour for the the upcoming iPhones. Rumours have it that there could be a realistic Gold-coloured iPhone.
Goodbye to the home button forever
With the launch of the iPhone X last year, Apple had hinted that the home button and fingerprint scanner could to be a thing of the past. This is because of Apple's aversion to analog and mechanical components in a smart device, the same reason why the headphone jack was dumped. This year's iPhone lineup is expected to rely only on FaceID and Apple might do away with the round home button for once and for all.
Round Apple Watch
Other than iPhones, September 12 event is also likely to see Apple launching new Apple Watch. There are chances that the round concentric circles on the invite hint at the round dialer of the upcoming Apple smartwatch. The fourth-generation Apple Watch is likely to be launched in two dial sizes- 38mm and 42mm with S4 chipset offering better battery life and performance. As far as connectivity concerned, Apple could launch it with LTE and WiFi options. The Apple Watch 4 is expected to look slightly different with thinner bezels than the previous models.
Apple is expected to launch three new iPhone models this time. Surprisingly, all the upcoming iPhones are expected to feature the notch design that was first introduced in the iPhone X last year. Apple is expected to launch the same iPhone X-looking phones this time in three display sizes--6.5-inch with OLED display, 5.8-inch with OLED and 6.1-inch TFT-LCD. Apple is also expected to launch the new Apple Watch 4 along with new AirPods and Apple AirPower charging pad.
