EDMC to donate Rs 1cr for flood-hit Kerala

East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) has announced to donate Rs  1 crore towards flood relief in Kerala. 

Mayor of East Delhi Bipin Bihari Singh announced the move on Friday. He said the officials and staffs of EDMC willingly donated the amount for the welfare of flood victims.

He also appealed the residents of east Delhi to donate and help the flood victims.

Meanwhile, Delhi Transco Limited on Friday announced to contribute one day's salary towards the Kerala's Chief Minister Distress Relief Fund. A cheque amounting to Rs 10, 15,428 was handed over to power minister Satyendar Jain by Chief Managing Director of Delhi Transco Ltd and Secretary (Power) Varsha Joshi.
