Kathmandu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Nepal counterpart KP Sharma Oli on Friday held bilateral talks here at the end of the fourth BIMSTEC Summit.
Following the talks, both sides also inked an MoU on preliminary engineering-cum-traffic survey of the broad gauge line between Raxaul (India) and Kathmandu (Nepal), Indian officials said.
“Continuing the positive momentum & direction in our relationship. PM Narendra Modi had a warm meeting with PM of Nepal KP Sharma Oli ….Both leaders held a detailed review on all aspects of our bilateral relationship,” MEA spokesman Raveesh Kumar tweeted.
Mr Modi also held bilateral talks with Dasho Tshering Wangchuk, Chief Advisor of the Interim Government of Bhutan.The deliberations between two sides will “add great vigour to India-Bhutan relations”, MEA spokesman said.
