Jakarta, Indian men’s won bronze medal after losing the semi-final against Hong Kong 0-2 at the 18th Asian Games held here on Friday.Sourav Ghosal and Harinder Pal Sandhu both lost their matches.
Harinder Pal Sandhu had conceded a 2-1 lead against Hong Kong in the semi-finals. Sandhu lost the first game in the second match against Hong Kong 11-9.
Hong Kong took a lead 1-0 after Sourav Ghosal lost his match.
Sandhu fought back against Hong Kong, after winning his second game 11-9. After, losing the first game 11-9.
The Indian men’s team comprising Saurav Ghosal, Harinder Pal Singh Sandhu, Ramit Tandon and Mahesh Mangaonkar was no match for Hong Kong, who had won bronze in the last edition at Incheon, South Korea.
