Flood alert in Arunachal Pradesh as water level in Siang river rises
Source: TNNA flood alert has been issued for the East Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh as the Siang river is in spate. The Deputy Commissioner of Siang has issued an advisory asking people not to venture into the river. The water level in Siang river rose after China released 9020 cusec of water. People living in the areas of Jarku, Paglek, SS Mission, Jarkong, Banskota, Berung, Sigar, Borguli, Seram, Kongkul, Namsing and Mer have been asked to remain alert.
