PR Minister Dr. Mishra in award distribution programme at Sansadiya Vidyapeeth
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said that the balancing of words and control of tongue is not only essential in the Vidhan Sabha and Parliament, but also in every field in life.
Dr. Mishra was addressing students awarded in various competitions organized by the Pandit Kunjilal Dubey Rashtriya Sansadiya Vidyapeeth at the Academy of Administration today.
He told the children to understand the value of time, take more interest in sports and games rather than watching TV programmes besides focusing more on regular exercise and study for physical and mental health.
Dr. Mishra gave away prizes to the winners in the competitions on the occasion.The PR Minister said that the common man is generally not very familiar with the working and proceedings of the Vidhan Sabha session.
Proceedings of meaningful discussions, concise speeches and issues related to public welfare do not get proper place in the media as some media representatives give more importance to the chaos in the sessions.
Due to this, people do not get information about the creative role of the public representatives. In addition, the media is unable to show the real picture of the session.
MLA and member of Committee of Public Sector Undertakings Yashpal Singh Sisodia, Principal Secretary Parliamentary Affairs Ajit Kesri and Principal Secretary Vidhan Sabha A.P. Singh also addressed the programme.
Director of Sansadiya Vidyapeeth Smt. Pratima Yadav gave the welcome address. She told that the Sansadiya Vidyapeeth organized Youth Parliament, essay and debate competitions. Students were taken on an educational tour to Delhi. Students were able to gain knowledge about Parliamentary affairs through various activities.
