Shah Rukh Khan to introduce characters of Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming love-saga Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be introducing the characters of the upcoming reboot of the love saga Kasautii Zindagii Kay, says film czarina Ekta Kapoor. The hitmaker was very excited when SRK stepped in for the shoot and kept blushing while shooting a video with him. Well, that’s the effect King of Romance has on people.
Ekta took to her Instagram to share a picture with the superstar and captioned it as, "A lot of people asked me why I was blushing! Well I have loved Shah Rukh sir since 'Fauji'! Finally he introduces the characters of my most loved show! And I shoot with him! I am gushing blushing! 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' mug shot."
Earlier Ekta even shared a sneak peek into the shoot in which she was seen going red in the presence of the megastar. On the other hand, SRK couldn’t help but smile watching Ekta’s reactions.
"Kasautii Zindagii Kay" ran for seven long years and starred Shweta Tiwari and Cezzane Khan, who was later replaced by Hiten Tejwani and Ronit Roy in the lead roles. Urvashi Dholakia and Geetanjali Tikekar played the main antagonists. Urvashi’s character of Komolika became a household name in no time.
The show became the third longest-running entertainer on the Indian small screen after "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" and "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii"
Now a reboot is coming on Star Plus and has Erica Fernandez and Parth Samthaan in lead roles. Rumours have it that Komolika’s role will be revived by Bigg Boss fame Hina Khan, however, nothing is confirmed yet. Krystal D’souza’s name is also surfacing for the antagonist’s role.
