Rupee hits new record low of 70.82; falls 23 paise against US Dollar
Continuing its slide, the rupee on Thursday opened at a low of 70.63 against the US dollar. It plunged further to hit an all-time low of 70.82 against the greenback. The domestic unit on Wednesday tanked 49 paise to hit a fresh closing low of 70.59.
