Rhyl Ladies have added former Wrexham and Denbigh Town midfielder Emma Roden to their squad ahead of this Sunday's Welsh Premier Women's League opener against Caernarfon Town at Belle Vue (2pm).
Roden is one of six players recruited by new first team manager Cassie Thomas for the 2018/19 campaign.
The majority of last season’s squad, which finished eighth in the league and made the semi-finals of the League Cup, have been retained.
Departing due to education commitments are Paige Williams, who has signed for Liverpool Federations, and Rachel Lloyd, who is taking a year out from the game to concentrate on her studying.
Emma Roden

Emma was with Denbigh last season and has previously played with Wrexham in the WPWL and for TNS Ladies. She was also a member of the successful Wrexham Futsal team last term.
Other new signings are....
Molly King

The young striker steps up from local side Hearts and will be looking to get amongst the goals for Rhyl this season. The local girl is a sixth form student at Ysgol Emrys ap Iwan, Abergele.
Ellie Davies

Ellie is also making the step up from Hearts. The Ysgol Glan Clwyd student will also be looking to make her mark with the squad this season to demonstrate the opportunities for young players at the club.
Zoe Stopford

Forward Zoe scored the team then known as Rhyl and Prestatyn's first-ever goal in the WPWL back in 2014-15 in a 1-0 victory at Aberystwyth.
Her studying later took her to Edge Hill University, but she will now be aiming to carry on where she left off with the club.
Emily Bentley

Emily is a right winger who has also signed from Rhyl Hearts. The youngster is currently at Ysgol Glan Clwyd and will be looking to make a breakthrough this season with the Club.
Ellie Bretherton

Ellie previously played for Everton Centre of Excellence and St Anne’s Elite. Ellie is also making the step up to senior football. Ellie is a tricky left winger who is looking to impress in the WPWL.

Samantha Mitchell, Yasmin Mills, Delyth Morgan, Alaw Davies-Smith, Caroline Gardner, Kim Sands, Lucy Vaughan, Tonicha Dickens, Ashleigh Mills, Rebecca Bannister, Rachael Nattrass, Amy Webster, Laura Williams and Emily Jones.

"Both existing and new players have shown me a lot of enthusiasm and commitment throughout pre-season. It is nice to see them all putting in the hard work and competing for their places.
