Councillors of SDMC to donate 1-day salary to flood-hit Kerala

In order to help the flood-affected people of Kerala, councillors of South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) have decided to donate their one-day salary to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund of Kerala.

The decision was taken after SDMC Commissioner Dr Puneet Kumar Goel on Wednesday proposed the move in the house meeting of the corporation.

Goel proposed that all SDMC employees may contribute their one day basic pay for flood affected State of Kerala.  The proposal was unanimously passed at the meeting.
