The 33-year-old, who spent 11 years at Kaizer Chiefs, signed a two-year deal with an option to extend for another year.

'Shabba' has played an incredible 372 games for the Glamour Boys since arriving from Free State Stars in 2007, scoring 58 goals.

During this time he has won the Absa Premiership (2012/13, 2014/15), the Telkom Knockout (2007, 2010, 2011), the MTN8 (2008, 2014) and the Nedbank Cup (2013).

He also holds the record for having played the most Soweto derbies against Orlando Pirates (31 appearances).

Tshabalala will be hoping to make a name for himself in the Turkish Super Lig as Erzurumspor find themselves pitted at the bottom of the standings in 18th place.

The veteran midfielder is expected to make his debut on Sunday, September 2 against Istanbul Basaksehir.
