It is unfortunate that Nandamuri Harikrishna passed away in this tragic way (“NTR’s son Harikrishna dies in accident”, August 30). It is sad that he was not wearing a seat belt. Despite advertisements advocating the use of seat belts, in reality few follow this rule. The onus is on us to not only protect our own lives but ensure that the way we drive doesn’t affect the lives of others on the road.
