Industry reps hold meet with SSP

| | Sitarganj | in Dehradun

In order to prevent dissatisfaction among industrial workers, the management of such enterprises must maintain close and cordial relations with them. The Udham Singh Nagar senior superintendent of police Sadanand Date said this while attending a meeting organised by the Kumaon Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) and the Sitarganj SIIDCUL Industry Welfare Association.

Date said that it was due to the peaceful atmosphere in the district that corporate giants like Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Auto and others had set up their industrial units here.  To prevent dissatisfaction among workers, the managers must establish cordial relations with them. Efforts must also be made to help solve their family issues. Some outside elements attempt to instigate or induce the workers to disrupt order in industries but they are not bothered about workers’ welfare. Workers should beware of such elements, he said.

KGCCI head Ashok Bansal appreciated the efficient functioning of Date as the district SSP. He said that the SSP had acted with sensibility and swiftness to resolve various problems faced by the industrial sector while also ensuring that various crime cases were worked out swiftly. Other office bearers of KGCCI and members of the industrial fraternity were also present  on the occasion.
