Stress management programme held for Chennai airport officials

CHENNAI: A two-day stress management programme, using breath awareness techniques, was held at Chennai airport on Wednesday and Thursday. Airports Authority of India (AAI) officials and air traffic controllers attended the session.
Medico consultant and breath awareness specialist Dr Ashok Bhatt was the instructor.

The event was inaugurated by S Sreekumar, regional executive director, Southern Region, AAI, in the presence of airport director G Chandramouli.

Sreekumar emphasised the importance of managing prolonged exposure to stress and appreciated the effectiveness of such measures in managing occupational stress.
