Is Bigg Boss 12 getting a location change? New season could kick off in Goa

Every time Bigg Boss returns to the television screens, the show’s producers always try their best to give the audience something new and exciting. Season after season, for 12 years, the show has changed format, hosts, decor and more but never has the show’s location been fiddled with.

However, the shoot location may not be sacrosanct anymore. If media reports are to be believed, the new season of Salman Khan’s hit reality show will be launched in Goa.

A press invite to show’s launch details the location in Goa and not in Mumbai’s Lonavala where all the previous seasons have been shot. Without mentioning a specific location, the invitations simply ‘welcomes’ the guests to Goa.

The show’s launch includes dance performances and contestant introductions. It is followed by each contestant entering the house one by one and meeting each other. However, it is not clear if the Bigg Boss house has been set up in Goa itself.

The show will kick off a month before usual on September 16. The theme for the new season in ‘vichitra jodis’. The jodis are not just those who are romantically involved but are relatives, colleagues, neighbours etc. According to Indian Express, estranged sisters Shafaq and Falak Naaz, couples Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, Siddharth Sagar and Subuhi Joshi, Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar and mother-son duo Vibha and Puru Chibber have been approached for the show.
