Water supply to be hit in parts of Delhi today

Water supply would be affected in parts of national capital on Thursday due to ongoing works carried out by the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) at Sonia Vihar ‘Water Treatment Plant’.

The supply will not be available or available at low pressure in areas of Sonia Vihar, Yamuna Vihar, Tahirpur, Dilshad garden, Shastri Park and their adjoining areas.

DJB has advised residents to store sufficient quantity of water in advance as per their requirement. It further informed that water tankers will be available at telephone numbers 1916, 23527679, 23513073, 1800117118 (Central Control Room), 22727812 (Mandawali Water emergency), 22812683 (Yamuna Vihar), 22814651, 22816023 (Loni Road).
