Getting a Tesla in the air is no easy task, considering a hefty battery pack is integrated into its chassis to give the electric vehicle a low center of gravity.
A driver in Barrie, Ontario, apparently took that as a challenge.
Electrek’s Fred Lambert posted a GIF of the high-flying incident, drawing this terse response from Tesla TSLA, -0.61% CEO Elon Musk:

According to Barrie Today, the Tesla Model S approached the incline leading up to the railway tracks at high speeds, before taking flight and ultimately crashing into a tree in a nearby school parking lot.

The driver and passenger were taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries, and the driver is scheduled to appear in court in October.
