‘Common Induction Learning’ training programme for Engineering Trainees held at BHEL

BHEL, Bhopal’s Human Resource Development Centre on Tuesday organised the ‘Common Induction Learning’ training programme for Engineer Trainees (Batch-2018) at Satpura Hall, Administrative Building, BHEL, Bhopal.

On this occasion, K Purswani, ED-PSG and DK Thakur, Executive Director (Bhopal) inaugurated the opening ceremony of the programme. M Isadore, General Manager(HR), Padmanaban, General Manager (Finance), Vipin Minocha, General Manager (CDC & Logistics), SM Ramanathan, General Manager (P&D, IT), Amitabh Dubey, AGM-HRD, K Oraon, AGM- HRD & Workshop and Swagata S Saxena, DGM (HRD) were also present in the programme.

Purswani in his address explained about the genesis of the CIL Training Programme and gave the reason for conducting training at BHEL Bhopal.

Thakur welcoming all the new recruited ETs said that today we need to mould and train young ETs for owing higher responsibilities so that the employees and the company on the whole can benefit from it.

Isadore in his address described about the contribution of BHEL in the growth of the country. He, further, informed the gathering about BHEL’s performance, thereby motivating all the Engineer Trainees to be ready to shoulder responsibilities.

Dubey welcomed the distinguished guests and Engineer Trainees. He explained about the ET training modules mentioned in ‘Dakshata’.

During the programme Video Conferencing with D Bandyopadhyay Director (HR) was also organised. During the conference Director (HR) said that in today’s business environment one should be a keen learner & contribute to the best towards our internal & external customers. He said that focus should be more on non-conventional energy ie solar, tidal, defence services and marine business. BHEL has the strength, competency, and capability to face the challenges with the help of focus on speed of response, better services and timely delivery.

Smriti Sharma, Umesh Savle and Meenakshi designed the structure of the programme. Saxena convened the programme and K Oraon, AGM-HRD proposed the vote of thanks.
