5 arrested for burglaries in Ludhiana

LUDHIANA: The PAU police have arrested five persons who were involved in several burglaries in Ludhiana. The accused were identified as Vinod Sahni, Mohammad Anvar, Suresh Kumar, Golu Kumar and Dalip Mukhiiya.
The PAU police recovered two LED screens, five speakers, one camera, two amplifiers from their possession.

Inspector Sumit Sood, SHO, PAU police station, said the accused have recently targeted same electronic store twice on July 31 and then August 11. The complainant had claimed that burglars had decamped with total 29 items, but police recovered only 11 goods after their arrest.

The inspector said all accused hail from Bihar and live in slum areas in the city. They are illiterate and have no source of income.
