The bespoke Pagani Zonda Riviera now has an owner in the form of a Saudi prince who, like so many before him, has brought the bespoke hypercar to the streets of London.
The British capital may be crippled with traffic and frequently hit with bad weather, but it remains a hotspot for supercar and hypercar owners from the Middle East.
However, the owner of perhaps the best-looking one-off Zonda built to date probably didn’t expect to get caught in a rainstorm while on a night out. Chaperoned by two Mercedes-Benzes, he was in safe hands, however.
Unlike many other Zondas in the 760 series, the Riviera wasn’t built from the ground up as an entirely new model. Instead, the car reportedly started out life as a Zonda F, but was returned to the Pagani factory and upgraded to its current specification.
Changes made to the car are comprehensive, For example, the entire exterior is new and includes a carbon fiber roof scoop like the Zonda Cinque, canards on the front bumper, a carbon fiber rear fascia and a massive rear wing complemented by a large sharkfin.
According to those in the know, the Zonda F engine has also undergone a series of modifications. Instead of outputting a “lowly” 602 hp at 6150 rpm and 560 lb-ft of torque, the naturally-aspirated 7.3-liter V12 now delivers at least 760 hp.
Better wait for the sun to come out before introducing the right pedal to the floor then, yes?
