Hong Kong:Insurers' federation marks 30th anniversary with new corporate logo

| 29 Aug 2018

The Hong Kong Federation of Insurers (HKFI), which turns 30 this month, has adopted a new corporate logo to symbolise its readiness and determination to stride into a brave new journey, and to mark the historic milestone.

While keeping the original abbreviation of “HKFI”, the logo is rebranded and presented in a lighter and more animated form to project a greater sense of vigour and flamboyance, the Federation says in a statement. HKFI was established on 8 August 1988,.

The two dots in red and blue are poetic transformation of the letter “I” which stands for insurance. The larger blue dot at the bottom represents the solid foundation laid and built by the Federation in the past three decades. And the smaller one in red signifies the force of growth and our dedication to the pursuit of excellence.

“These two dots also resemble the oblique sign of 'infinity' embedded with two key messages: as a force for good, insurance underpins all socio-economic activities and HKFI stands ready to serve its membership and the community of Hong Kong to the best of its ability,” the statement says.
