Chandrapur: Cops have recovered the dead body of two-year-old Yug Meshram, hidden in a haystack in the backyard of his own house, on Wednesday afternoon. Yug had disappeared from near his house on August 22.
Multiple police teams were deployed to investigate the case. The local crime branch too was roped in to crack the mystery. Bramhapuri police had released a poster seeking information about missing Yug, and had dispatched police teams to Nagpur, Wardha, Bhandara and Gadchiroli to search for him. While cops failed to get a clue the entire week, they discovered the dead body in a haystack not more than 100 feet from his house.

The body had been well hidden in the hay stack. While officers are tight-lipped about the case, they are learnt to be investigating the case from the angle of human sacrifice. Police have taken two suspects into custody for interrogation, and are likely to crack the case soon, sources said.
