According to Nalgonda superintendent of police AV Ranganath, the film actor-politician N Harikrishna was declared dead at the Kamineni hospital in Narkeptally after he was taken there in a critical condition.
Police believe that deceased Harikrishna was driving the car when the mishap occurred
Police said he was returning from Nellore to Hyderabad in a car. The car overturned and mangled remains were found near the mishap site. Police believe that Harikrishna was driving the car when the mishap occurred on Wednesday.

Two sons of Hariksihna, Junior
NTR and Nandamuri Kalyanram are popular Tollywood actors. They rushed to the hospital after the incident.

Junior NTR too was injured in a road mishap in 2009. Incidentally, Nandamuri Harikrishna's other son Nandamuri Janakiram died in a road mishap in 2014.
