Bangladeshi scribe hacked to death at her residence

A 32-year-old Bangladeshi journalist, Suborna, was on Tuesday hacked to death by unknown assailants at her home in city.

"Some unidentified men rang the doorbell. They fled after hacking her indiscriminately when she opened the door," Bdnews24.com quoted Pabna's of Police, Ibne Mizan as saying.

Suborna, who was the mother of a nine-year-old girl and had recently split with her husband, was a for the private channel, Ananda TV, and the Daily Jagroto Bangla newspaper. She succumbed to her injuries while she was being taken to a hospital by locals.
