ZTE Nubia Z18 to launch on September 5, confirms company

ZTE-owned smartphone brand Nubia is all set to launch its next smartphone -- Nubia Z18 -- on September 5 in China. The news of the launch was confirmed when the company posted on the Chinese social networking website.
The poster image shared by the company shows a Samsung-like Infinity Display and a tiny Essential Phone-like notch on the top of the display.
The ZTE Nubia Z18 has been spotted online several times on the web -- including live images and a Geekbench listing -- revealing a lot of information about the upcoming handset.
As per the Geekbench listing, the Nubia Z18 is expected to run on 1.77Ghz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM. It is said to run on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
The Nubia Z18 also made and appearance on the Chinese certification website TENAA which also reveals the same processor and RAM specifications. With the model number NX606J the handset, is said to offer a 5.99-inch LCD with a Full HD resolution. For imaging duties, it is likely to offer dual rear cameras with a 24-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel secondary camera. The front camera is also listed to be an 8-megapixel sensor. The battery capacity is listed as 3350mAh and the dimensions are expected to be 148.58×72.54×8.55 mm
As for the live images, the handset was seen with the Essential Phone-like circular notch on the top. The handset has thin bezels on the side as well as the bottom. The handset is also seen with a Red circular home bottom -- also seen on other Nubia handsets in the past.
Recently, a video footage emerged online that was allegedly made using the Nubia Z18 handset. The video was of the world's largest light painting and three samples from the video were also re-posted by Nubia's official Weibo account as well.
