Yu Ace smartphone leaked online ahead of official launch

NEW DELHI: Micromax’s online only brand YU Televentures is all set to launch its latest smartphone in the Indian market. The company has scheduled an event for August 30, where it will unveil its next smartphone -- likely to be called Yu Ace.
The company has not yet shared any information about the smartphone, but a new image of the yet-to-be launched smartphone has surfaced online. Shared by Android Pure, it is claimed to be the image of Yu Ace. As per the leaked image, the smartphone will come with a Full View display with 18:9 aspect ratio and thin bezels. The interesting thing to note here is that the smartphone will not come with a notch screen.
With the launch of Yu Ace, the company is trying to make a comeback to the Indian smartphone market and also look to give tough competition to Xiaomi.
The last smartphone of the company was Yu Yureka 2 which came with a price tag of Rs 11,990. The device was exclusively available on Flipkart and offered a 5.5-inch full HD display and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor.
The Yu Yureka 2 comes with a 16MP rear camera and 8MP front shooter. The smartphone is backed by a 3930mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support.The smartphone offered 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.
Earlier this year, Micromax launched its Android Go smartphone Bharat Go at MWC 2018. The budget smartphone runs on MediaTek quad-core processor and packs 1GB DDR3 RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage and is powered by 2000 mAh battery.
