Man found murdered, family accuses better half

A man was found stabbed to death in Badiya Bhatta village here with his wife being considered to be a prime suspect in the murder.While the wife has been absconding since the murder, the police believe that the murder may have been committed by two people.

Badiya Bhatta resident 35 year old Lakshman Lal got married about three months ago to a woman named Shivani. They were living in Lakshman’s father’s home but about a fortnight ago he had rented the first floor of his neighbour’s home where he was staying with his wife. On Tuesday morning, a relative reached Lakshman’s residence. He along with another person and the landlord’s wife went to the first floor to find the room bolted from outside. They opened the door to find Lakshman’s bloodied body on the floor. They informed the police which brought police officers to the scene of the murder.

Lakshman had multiple knife wounds on his body. His family members said that his wife had been missing since the morning. The family members alleged that his wife Shivani had murdered him with the help of some other men.

It is being stated that Shivani is a native of Gorakhpur and used to live in Indiranagar, Sirauli, with a person named Natwar who she had stated was her father. The police are investigating the case.
