Mitsubishi Electric India invites application for the fourth edition of Mitsubishi Electric Cup (ME Cup) 2019. The theme for this year is ‘Digital Industry Through Smart Imagination’ under which students will be required to independently design and produce a complete set of devices and models by using Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation products.

Hisahiro Nishimoto, director and division manager, Factory Automation and Industrial Division, Mitsubishi Electric India, said: “Through this competition, we have been providing a platform to engineering students to display their innovation capabilities and build advanced models by using our technical expertise and Factory Automation Equipment. This year’s theme — Digital Industry through Smart Imagination — is in accordance with our motto to support the dissemination of new knowledge and give chance for new ideas in the manufacturing domain.”

All the participants will be given participation certificates. The winning team will get Rs 1 lakh. The runner-up — Rs 75,000 while the third spot team will be given Rs 50,000. The last date for online registrations and submission of proposal is September 1, 2018. A maximum of two teams per institute can register for the competition.
