Five killed in rain-related incidents in UP in 24 hours

LUCKNOW: Five people have lost their lives in rain-related incidents in Uttar Pradesh in the past 24 hours, officials said on Tuesday.

A statement issued by the office of UP relief commissioner said, "Five persons died in rain-related incidents across the state in the past 24 hours."

It said one death was reported from Bijnore on Tuesday.

One person died in Unnao, Allahabad, Sultanpur and Jhansi. All these deaths were reported on Monday, the statement said.
