AGRA:
Former BJP MLA Munish Gaur (62) died after reportedly falling off his
terrace in Aligarh on Tuesday.
Media incharge of BJP Aligarh, Nishit Sharma, told TOI that Gaur was walking on his terrace when he seemed to faint and fell off. Sharma added that Gaur was under treatment at
Ganga Ram hospital for some nerve- related issue, which is why he may have fainted. Gaur was immediately rushed to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Director of Varun hospital, Dr Sanjay Bhargav, said that he had succumbed to head injuries.
He is survived by his wife and four sons. Gaur was elected as BJP MLA from Baurauli Assembly constituency in Aligarh in the 1993 elections. The last rites of the former MLA will be performed on Wednesday.
