JMM leaders bought tribal land, violated laws: State BJP

State BJP on Monday alleged that former CM and JMM Executive president Hemant Soren has violated land laws in the State and bought tribal land on throw-away prices. In a statement released by BJP it said that Hemant has bought tribal land of one Raju Oraon and also at places including Sahebganj, Bokaro, Chaibasa, Ranchi, Gola etc violating the CNT and SPT Acts.

It questioned whether taking rights of sand quarrying from Gram Sabhas and giving them to businesses of Mumbai was a Human face of the party? However, a JMM delegation was there in support of the father who is allegedly involved in the rape conspiracy.

“When Hemant Soren is saying that only JMM is capable of fighting BJP, then what will be  the role of Congress and JVM leaders, who are talking about grand alliance?

It appears that JMM is batting alone on the field and other party leaders are standing outside just like extra playes,” he said.
