Chengannur (Kerala), Congress President Rahul Gandhi visited flood affected areas in Kerala on Tuesday.
The Congress President, who reached Trivandrum airport from Europe, was received by Lok Sabha MP from Thiruvananthapuram and Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, and other senior Congress leaders.
Later, he arrived here in a helicopter to visit the flood hit areas and affected people in various relief camps.
Mr Gandhi will meet the heroic survivors and félicitate fishermen who sacrificed so much to rescue trapped people, Shashi Tharoor said.
