Dawood's aide Jabir Motiwala appears before London court

Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's key on Tuesday appeared before via video link.

During the hearing, he gave his name as before the court. No bail application was made today, and the next hearing was fixed for September 25.

Last week, the court had rejected the bail plea of Dawood's key aide, stating that the charges against Motiwala were "very serious".

The Pakistani national was arrested by the security agencies from a hotel in on August 19. He possesses a 10-year UK visa and shares a common financial interest with Dawood's wife Mahajabeen, his son and his daughters Mahrookh, Mehreen and his sons-in-law, Junaid (the son of former Pakistani Javed Miandad) and Aungazeb.

Motiwala was involved in investment in Dawood's businesses, spanning across and various other regions covering the Middle East, the UK and Europe, and South- He was arrested on a US warrant on charges of money laundering and trafficking narcotics.
