HYDERABAD: After the rustication and suspension of students of the Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (
CBIT), members of the Joint Action Committee for Engineering Colleges Parents (JAC-ECP) said that they will frame an action plan to deal with the issue on Tuesday.
The members of JAC-ECP said that few students tried to meet the principal of the institute to get the issue resolved on Monday, but the outcome of the meeting is yet to be known.
The principal of the institute has said that the institute is not anti-student and would decide students' rustication or suspension on case-to-case basis after they hear their response to a show cause notice. On Sunday, the CBIT management rusticated 12 students and suspended 14 for protesting
fee hike on campus.
