Nagpur: Sur Sargam’s musical treat ‘Pyaar Ke Taraane- III’ made an amazing combination with the evening drizzle on Monday at Scientific Society Hall, Laxmi Nagar.
Total 12 artistes took the audience on a melodic journey with evergreen Hindi songs. The event was organized by Surbhi Dhomne, Sachin Dhomne and Mukul Pande.

The show kick-started with the famous Kishore Kumar song ‘Phir vahi raat hai’, covered fantastically by Anil Gulhane. Vijay Dawle followed it up by Mohammad Rafi’s ‘Hue hai tumpe aashiq hum’.

Other romantic classics like ‘Main toh tum sang’ by Lata Mangeshkar and ‘Mana ho tum’ by JK Yesudas were performed by Garima Sharma and Prasanna Nayar, respectively.

Shirish Suryavanshi’s performance on ‘Lakhon hai yaha dilwale’ from movie ‘Kismat’ was well received and to mark the occasion of Rakshabandhan, T Balakrishnan covered the famous composition ‘Phoolon ka taaron ka’.

Rashmi Kolhe rendered ‘Aaja aayi baahar’ that attracted the audience with her soft voice. Dhanashree Mandavkar, Pravin Jadhav, Jaya Dhabekar also performed their musical bits at the evening. The songs created a lively atmosphere and the gathering was compelled to appeal for ‘once more’ after every other song.

Gulhane concluded the event with the Kishore Kumar’s beautiful composition ‘Haal kya hai dilon ka’ from the movie ‘Anokhi Ada’. The audience, who marked their presence at the show despite the rains, reflected their love for music.

The singers, being amateur, made best of their efforts by adding a professional touch to the show with their talent. The budding artistes from various background joined the music group to pursue their passion for singing which is worth appreciating.

Manoj Salpelar hosted the evening and entertained the crowd. A wonderful musical accompaniment by the orchestra group added charm to the show.
