Nagpur: Gulf countries offer far more
business opportunities as compared to the US and European countries, and it is quite feasible to carve a niche there, said Sandeep Gadge, businessman and member of Gulf Maharashtra Business Forum (GMBF).
Ghadge and Sanjay Singh, both businessmen associated with GMBF, shared their success stories of becoming an international service provider through the organization at an event organized on Tuesday at Chitnavis Centre.
“Business laws in Gulf countries are quite liberal. You can get a company registered in less than two hours, whereas the US and EU are a little stringent. In addition, it is very convenient to travel to these countries on a regular basis,” Ghadge said.
“I started my international business of selling properties in 2005. Currently, I have a clientele of over 1,000 customers. These business conferences are an opportunity that every entrepreneur in Maharashtra must encash,” he said.
GMBF is a non-political not-for-profit organization that offers business opportunities in Gulf countries and Africa for entrepreneurs of Maharashtra through networking.
An organization established and run by 11 businessmen settled in gulf countries, GMBF aims to provide a platform for service providers wanting to spread their reach in such countries. It will organize networking conference ‘MahaBiz 2018’ in October at Dubai.
Talking about the need for a global platform for businessmen of Maharashtra, president of GMBF Sunil Manjarekar said, “Everybody dreams of widening their reach on a global level and wants an international clientele, but somehow refrain themselves owing to prejudices.”
“We will guide the entrepreneurs as well as service providers and tell them what not to do while doing business in the Gulf countries. UAE offers a lot of business opportunities for service providers, be real estate, agriculture or engineering,” he added.
