According to the company, RailRestro works on the marketplace-like business model. Under this system, a passenger can access Railrestro via app, call or website and place the order for food. The passenger needs to provide his/her PNR details or train number information and expected timing on the virtual interface. Next, the virtual interface tracks the passenger details (NAP), stations falling en-route, and the restaurants at which they can place their food orders, keeping the available vendors in mind. The company claims to proceed the order within 60 minutes. The payment can be made either in cash or through a secure payment gateway.
