It is a critical situation where the Chhattisgarh Chief Electoral Officer has to issue a circular to District Collectors, to pick up urgent phone calls, which points towards downfall of constitutional bodies, said Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee president Bhupesh Baghel.

Baghel in a statement said that it proves that during BJP rule, the administrative system is not functioning properly and this is a live example of it. It directly indicates the downfall of the constitutional institutions in the country.

The election related works if the district highest officer and responsible person is not taking it seriously, it could be detrimental for the constitutional institution.

CPCC president alleged that under BJP rule the politicalisation of administration has taken place and officers are working at their will. He adds that day to day common people are facing problems which are not being resolved on time but on official visits of BJP top leadership, administration steps in for the arrangement.
