Fresh from the success of her recent release Gold, Mouni Roy, who has enjoyed quite a lot of success on television says she was not originally inclined towards showbiz. Speaking about her transition to the small screen, she shares, “Belonging to a Bengali family I was always inclined towards studies. My parents wanted me to be an IAS officer. Never in life had I ever dreamt of becoming an actor but it happened to me. While studying in Miranda College Delhi someone clicked my picture and this picture reached Balaji. That’s how, I joined television. Also, belonging to a Bengali family we have to learn dance, singing and participate in dramatics as well. Reading was my major hobby though.”
