LoP: Make public report of foot wear distribution to tribals

Leader of Opposition(LoP) in the State Assembly Ajay Singh said that Shivraj led State Government is not making the report public which reveals foot wears distributed to 10 lakh tribals were carcinogenic.

He along with the demand of making the report public demanded to ensure the foot wears sold over foothpath and shops across the state is carcinogenic and save the state people from the danger of causing cancer.

Singh alleged that the Minister of Forest shielded the issue with lengthy clarification during press briefing but evade the details of report intentionally to save government from further augmenting the issue which has already attracted much attention.

During the media briefing reports of Footwear Design and Development Institute and Skin Research Center Chennai were pointed but nothing regarding the reports was made public.

The clarifications are only verbal without any substantial evidences to support and as the reports were found not in favour of the government the details were not revealed.

The government is busy in making announcements of pro-people policies to gain popularities and claim accolades among the masses but at the ground level the reality is totally different as services lacking quality are provided to the people of the state.

He also alleged that the laptop and smart phones provided to the students are of companies dealing in sub-standard quality products.

After the issue of carcinogenic foot wears surfaced government should take care of the lives of citizens and it should be ensured that citizens should get carcinogenic-free foot wears.
