Asian Games 2018: Dharun, Sudha, Neena clinch silvers in athletics events

Indian athletes enjoyed a successful day at the 2018 Asian Games with Dharun Ayyasamy, Sudha Singh and Neena Varakil clinched silvers in their respective events here on Monday. Sudha Singh clinched a silver in women's 3000m steeplechase event clocking 9:40.03 minutes. Dharun Ayyasamy won a silver in men's 400m hurdles in national record time. Ayyasamy clocked 48.96 seconds to shatter his own national record. Neena Varakil clinched silver in the women's long jump. She recorded a best attempt of 6.51 metres to finish second.
